The other day I mentioned that weโre not really into Valentineโs Day, and thatโs true. But I can fully appreciate all the adorable, ingenius, incredible ideas that are sparked by said pink and sparkly holiday. If thereโs anything that might have swayed me this year, itโs the many brilliant ideas that have filled my Pinterest page over the last few weeks.
I decided to dedicate this post to all the crafty ways Valentineโs Day is being celebrated out there on the internet. I couldnโt let the holiday slip by without making sure that you guys had seen these fabulous ideas so you can do them yourself if youโre into Cupidโs big day.
Iโm often amazed at the creativity that comes to life on blogs, be they food or craft. For example, these heart-shaped yarn ornaments by Allison from Some The Wiser {seen above} are exactly my kind of craft. Simple yet elegant, and so easy to do โ as you can see from the Allisonโs girls putting them together on her blog. Could it get any cuter? Iโm thinking hanging a bunch of different sized yarn hearts with satin ribbon at different lengths on the front door of my classroom just might delight my students and get them in the Valentineโs Day spirit.

Holiday trees are nothing new, and seem to be made for every holiday these days, but this one in particular from Love, Laughter & Decor, definitely caught my eye. If you havenโt caught on by now, I love stark and rustic settings. This decorative tree can be displayed year round, becoming โholiday decorโ with the addition of simple ornaments โ hearts like you see here, art deco rabbits for Easter, even rustic mini-American flags for Independence Day. Using your favorite vase and filler, this is a project that can be tweaked to match your own tastes easily.
Stay tuned for the edible portion of my Valentineโs Day roundup โ youโre not going to want to miss the treats I found for you!

Thank you again for the feature! Have a wonderful week!

Iโm constantly surprised by the talent of folksโฆcrafters, bakers, bloggers so much talent, Iโm blown away!
Thanks so much for featuring my photo strip project! :). Shelley
Everything is so adorable. I wish I was a crafty person, but Iโm not! Iโll stick to cooking and baking! :)
I love the photo-strip hearts โ what a fabulous idea. So personal and individual. Itโs not the done thing here in the UK to decorate for Valentineโs but I would be seriously tempted to put something like that up and keep it as a permanent fixture!!!
Thank you so much for featuring my V-Day Matchboxes :)
