Itโ€™s been quite some time since Iโ€™ve posted a Friday Faves, so I thought Iโ€™d get back into it this month because I have so many awesome things to share with you.

Iโ€™ve also decided to change up the format a bit sharing a variety of items from different categories. Iโ€™ll be dishing on everything from beauty products and makeup to cookbooks, baby must-haves and my fave blogs.

BABY: I am obsessed with so many different products from Aiden + Anais, but their Dream Blankets have to be one of my favorites. Theyโ€™re super soft, wash incredibly well, and theyโ€™re perfect for baby snuggle time on the couch. And Iโ€™m totally in love with all of their fun, modern patterns.

MAKEUP: With the new baby, Iโ€™m obviously lacking in the sleep department and I have the under eye circles to prove it. I discovered Mac Prep + Prime Highlighter in Radiant Rose a few weeks ago and itโ€™s been doing a stellar job of brightening and adding a little radiance to my eye area. Ya know, giving the illusion that Iโ€™m actually well-rested.

BEAUTY: Iโ€™ve been in love with Josie Maranโ€™s Argan Oil for quite some time, using it on dry skin patches, parched lips and the ends of my hair. More recently, Iโ€™ve started to use the Cleansing Oil from the line and itโ€™s pretty amazing. Even though my skin is definitely more on the oily side, it removes my makeup and hydrates my skin without making it feel greasy. Iโ€™m pretty smitten.

SNACK: If you read my recent post for Coconut Muffins, you know Iโ€™m on a coconut binge these days. I mentioned these Toasted Coconut Almonds from Blue Diamond because theyโ€™re definitely one of my favorite snacks. Even my coconut hating brother thought these were amazing. I love that I can toss the can into my purse or diaper bag and have a delicious, healthy on-the-go snack. I think theyโ€™ll forever be on my weekly Target shopping list.

BOOK: Iโ€™m a sucker for a layered dessert, so when Glory, the writer behind the blog Glorious Treats, sent me her first cookbook โ€“ I fell madly in love with it. Gloryโ€™s book, Glorious Layered Desserts is loaded with decadent desserts that are perfect for any occasion. Itโ€™s beautifully photographed, thoughtfully written, and a must-have for any baker. Bottom line โ€“ buy this book!

BLOGGER: Since I love Gloryโ€™s book so much, I just had to share her blog as well. Glorious Treats has been on my must-read blog list for quite some time. Sheโ€™s definitely one of the sweetest people Iโ€™ve met through blogging and her dessert creations are just as amazing!

I am obsessed with replacing all fats with coconut oil & it works well with everything Iโ€™ve baked so far. I wonder if you have tried making coconut oil icing? I donโ€™t think it will work with 100% coconut oil, but donโ€™t want to waste cups of it. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!!
